Our journey begins with the awe-inspiring Temple of Olympian Zeus, a former colossal temple dedicated to the Olympian god Zeus. Located in the heart of Athens, this open-air museum offers a glimpse into the grandeur of ancient Greek civilization.

Kallimarmaro or Panathenaic Stadium
We continue our tour with a visit to the Kallimarmaro or Panathenaic Stadium, the historic venue that hosted the first modern Olympic Games in 1896. This remarkable structure, made entirely of marble, is a true testament to Greece’s athletic heritage.

Parliament of Greece
Our next stop is Syntagma Square, where we will admire the Parliament of Greece. Here, we will witness the ceremonial changing of the Presidential Guard at the Monument of the Unknown Soldier. As we walk along Herod Atticus Street, we will pass by the Political Bureau of the Prime Minister and the residence of the President of the Republic.

University of Athens, National Library, and Numismatic Museum
Heading down Panepistimiou Street, we will encounter some of the most significant neoclassical buildings in Athens, including the University of Athens, the National Library, and the Numismatic Museum, each representing Greece’s dedication to knowledge and culture.

Acropolis & Plaka
Our next destination is the iconic Acropolis, an ancient citadel situated on a rocky outcrop above Athens. This UNESCO World Heritage site houses remarkable architectural and historical monuments, including the world-renowned Parthenon Temple. Additionally, we will visit the Acropolis Museum, the Herod Atticus Conservatory, and the Theater of Dionysus. Following this, we will take a leisurely stroll through the Ancient Greek Agora and the charming neighborhood of Plaka, often referred to as the "Neighborhood of the Gods."

Lycabettus Hill
To conclude our tour, we will ascend Lycabettus Hill, the highest point in central Athens, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the city. From this vantage point, we can truly appreciate the beauty and history of Athens.
